Umm, I guess advertising? Facebook has been gaining in the ranks for some viral marketing. I've seen a lot of the "I got a free Ipod, let me show you how too!" links on people's newsfeeds and if you have 2000 friends, that might be valueable to some people to display that link for them. However, on the other hand, it is not too hard to gain that many friends in a relatively short period of time either. I'm sure there are some automated programs that will go out and make account with a few thousand friends added
Test my application and tell me if it works with 2000 friends. I am interested in timeouts that might occur with large numbers of friends or any other kind of strange behavior. http://apps.facebook.com/biotrend If you send me some screenshots of the 5 main pages (My Biotrend, Zodiac: Wester, Zodiac: Chinese, Myfriends and the Facebook Tab) of the application, I can paypal you $5 for it. And you would make me really happy since it is tough to test this otherwise. Matthias
You have 2000 "friends", but I doubt they really are your friends. You're offering to spam/abuse the relationship with them. Facebook was built as a social community, not a spam platform. Too bad so many idiots like to spam the crap out of it. People like you are the reason I deny most facebook friend requests. I'd rather have the 400 people on my friends list stay my friends than spam the shit out of them.
