I have 2 website hosted in the same ip, Can I rank for both website in same Kp?

I have 2 website hosted in the same ip, Can I rank for both website in same Kp? The Kp is competitive enough and I am getting many links from natural and other sources. Both are with in top 20 of Google. Will any one of them come on top or for same ip there will be only one within top 10?

 

With only 2 sites you should not have any problems ranking. Matt Cutts discusses the subject on one of his videos.

 

Yes - as long as the content is different enough, there should be no problems. If you look at shared hosting services, they often have hundreds of sites coming from just one IP - Google does use it to flag for spam, but it's only going to affect you if the sites are too similar, or you're doing too much other spammy activity.

I do not see any problem with them being on the same IP. But in my experience more than one site OWNED by the same person does not rank high in the SERPs.

well i am running samething but i dont have any problem with that and both the sites are already got a good ranking in google SERPs..
