Alright, Digital Point people! I have an experiment that I want to perform. I have 2 unused domains. I want to take them and turn them into money makers by using affiliate programs. This will be my journal here where I post what all I'm doing each day to see profits. I'll be very transparent about the whole process and try to give details. These aren't my primary aims as far as 'making money online' goes, they're simply 2 side projects I'd like to run. I intend to build the pages myself and I'm already an affiliate of CJ, EPN (Ebay) and Amazon. I'm willing to try pretty much anything else that's not going to cost me. I'm not ready to shell out money on PPC at this point, but I am capable of writing directories and such. Now it's your turn, I'd like your suggestions on what products you think I should try to market with these untapped domains! I'll fully credit any one who helps me out here and I'll blog about you (including a link to the site of you choice), as well, in my blog. Not a huge incentive, I realize, but it'd be the best way I currently have of repaying the favor. So let's hear it! What would you sell with an unused domain?
Unfortunately, no, not really. They're certainly not any hot search keywords at all. They've been previously used to host blogs, but other than that they're along the lines of "GoldHeart" or something like that. Wish they were, though!
Well, I went ahead and set one domain up following Norb's advice and so far (started June 27th or so) I've gotten 19 hops.. not great, not completely awful and I figure it takes some time for things to 'set in'... I've still got the other domain raring to go.. but this first domain now has: a forward to my Clickbank affiliate -ezine article (linked) -youtube video/profile that links to it -hubpage (linked) -squidoo page (linked) -Yahoo Answers (linked) -a few blog comments I'll do more on that domain, but it's something of a start at least
