Never let your checking account run out and use your debit card. I got hit with 33 $25 fees and 24 $50 fees in a two day period. My stupid bank charges $25 per transfer from your saving to checking if you have no money in checking. When my savings account ran out because of the fees I started getting charged with $50 over draft fees.

All but 8 of the fees were due to subscriptions. I have a crapload on one of my PayPal accounts and I let that run out of money so it went to my bank account. I also had 2 gym memberships, 3 WoW subscriptions, bunch of movie rentals, 4 video rental subscriptions, and more I wont list.

Moral of the story- banks are douches and im dumb.

I think it is time you get to learn how to manage your finances in a better way, overdraft facilities are normally charged very high interest rates. No point giving these money to the bank.

ouch overdraft charges are insane here in the uk too, we got a $40 charge for going $1 over and that was because of a direct debit.

My bank gives me free over draft protection ;)
My main personal account normally has a $0 balance. It auto draws from my business/corporate accounts when it needs money.

If I had to pay those fees I'd keep money in all accounts!
