    St. Patty:

What are you promoting your blog for? If your trying to get Adsense rev. then def go the SEO way by trying to get organic traffic. Buy links and what not, or have your blog written about in other blogs.

If you just want people to see your blog, read it, and maybe come back, go the adwords way by bidding very low on extremely broad keywords.

Thank you all for great advice!

I think I’ll list up the key words I was considering using; would you all be willing to provide me your input and suggestions for improvement? I do want to stretch my advertising penny as Joe suggested.

ST paddy, if that is your celebrity blog, I woudl dump money into improving it, it looks pretty amateur (especially when you see how flashy other sites are).

100 bucks can buy decent traffic, but you will have to experiment to find out how much.
A good campaign can run down to .02 for long tail keywords... but if you are in a competive niche, don't optimize your campaign you could end up paying a lot more.

This is not the way to show members or potential advertisers that you are easy to work with or why this is not spam. Will agree, offensive post and defensive follow up. Simply state some figures or some value or some alternatives not just plugging your cheap traffic, you will no win people over that way and instead you will make enemies here quickly.

Make it a productive and positive day!
