Becasue it's what we've hurd http://forum.soft32.com/win4/Splinter-Cell-Windows-Vista-Home-Basic-Laptop-ftopict147997.html
Has that guy with the Splinter Cell game tried running under XP SP2 Compatability, thats how I ran it.
I don't really like it, then yet again, I don't like anything bloated. Regular consumers will love it.
For games, you need to install XP again. Vista has so many compatibility issues at the moment, we need to wait a lot for vista to be mature regarding compatibility
better yet, I think I will stay with XP and wait for the operating system that comes out AFTER vista...... maybe by then Microsoft will have figured out how to do things right from the start
I think with xp sp3 around the corner and Vista Sp1 not bringing any feature enchancements it would be wiser for those with xp to not upgrade to Vista. AFAIK Vista and Xp are good OSes and they do not have any security holes as of now and are stable enough.
Vista frgin sucks. Feezes up all the time and have to restart. Gets old quick know what I mean. Is there a decent spyware scan yet for vista?
