My line went completely dead so I phoned them up and they said it's not their fault and they can't send out an engineer. This company put three or four people on 1 LINE! And gets away with it. Does anyone else hate them aswell! I know that there are lots of complaints about them on the internet. Lets make this another.
I also have decided that I hate 1and1 internet now. They are so annoying to cancel. Talk about achieving lock in.
I have tiscali, and it drops out during busy periods, but pops back on in a matter of a few seconds :S they're not so bad, but they're not the best... just not many options where i live i'm afriad :<
I had similar problem with my service provider. I changed my broadband provider and now i am happy with Vodafone. I made broadband comparison online and find suitable deal as per my usage. Compare and switch your service provider.
never used them, as i had a friend who used them for about 6 months, had nothing but problems with them. God save virgin, for there unlimited bandwidth, and good service so far lol. (crosses fingers, that all keeps going well.
I used them for about 2 years and it was a constant nightmare. I moved house while using them and it took them 10 weeks to transfer me over and I still got charged during that time! Tried in vain to recoup the money and eventually cancelled my contract and then still had to pay for a further month of use. Constantly went down. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.
I've had tiscali for nearly a year now, like somebody else says, get disconnected during peak hours. After that, it's pain to reconnect again through wireless.
