Hello digitalpoint. I hate writing these things, as I am sure many people don't read them/or care. However, in the interests of being sociable and meeting some new people I will give this the best "crack of the whip" I can. First of all, this introduction is well over due. I think I have been watching this forum now for around about three to four months now. I have been what is often called a "lurker". I don't really know what has taken me so long in becoming active having been a member of similar forums for over a year now. I do know that in these last few days the only factor to cause further delay was the fact I lost my account details. I of course did not think to try and retrieve them from the site until today, so i guess you could call me a lurker and a bonehead. If you'd prefer though, you could call me by my first name; Alex. Why am I here? Well I am a website owner, but not an especially good one if I am honest, and thus will not be posting any links! I have had probably just under ten websites in my time including blogs etc. A couple have been total disasters, some mediocre successes and I am now on the verge of launching a couple of new projects. Until that day though I spend my spare time merrily playing with the cpanel and fantastico features in my hostgator account on a "test-dummy" website I have been running for around 2 and a half months now. I am currently just finishing up a law degree at the moment, with the possibility of a well-deserved year out come this june. Over the summer I really hope to put my "back into" developing some websites. I guess this really sums up why I am here. There is some great advice here, and there are some great contributors here too. In time, I hope to be one of those great contributors. Until then, I shall sit, learn and assist where I can. If you have read this far then may I thank you for taking the time to reading this lengthy and boring introduction post. Stay safe and be happy. Alex
