I hate this kind of newsletters/landing pages but they have the marketing success

I’m pretty sure that, if you have surfed the internet for more than a month now, you have came across some offer that contains:
    “incredible!”
    “awesome”
    “top 3 in the world”
    “awarded with gold”
    “HUGE success”

I've wrote an article over here about this technique, I call it the "huge" factor. I'm not a professional writer, nor a very succesful online marketeer, but I'm mostly right when I start throwing out my words.

Those using the techniques presented, have success, why? doesn't it look weird? It's marketing that simply works, and should be replicated!

I'd like to know if you have noticed this as well..

This goes back to the "social proof" or "consensus" principle of influence. If other people have success, you will too. It's a trigger that we as humans are programmed to respond to.

Check out the book, Influence, by Robert Cialdini

Absolutely the best marketing book I've ever read.

They are overused. They do work to an extent, but not as much as they use to.

In fact, it could hurt your sales:

"Try this incredible offer right now! It's amazing!"

I read enough of that crap on this board.

True, the thing is, over though the method is over-saturated it works, which drives me nuts, I have never used it and well never had a huge success, actually never promoted any product yet, but related to my websites I never describe them as "supreme extraordinary etc"

    Odd..
