I hate the new adsense code, Can I use the old? I know you can just copy old code and use it, but I wonder if there is a way to create new channels and use that channel id in the old code... anyone know of a way?
Why don't you like the new code ? I kinda like the idea that I can edit the look of any one of dozens of sites from one place.
Because i reuse the same code on 100's of sites and I sometimes programmatically set the ad channels to track certain things. (position, type of site, url)
the old code still works.now that they show the id numbers,you can add the channel id to the old code format.you can't generate old code though. i also hate the new code.
Maybe I don't understand something... but can't the same thing be accomplished with the new code using the comment tag ? // URL SideBar 160x600 This is then reported as a custom channel in your adsense account.
If anyone needs an old code just ask I dont think the channels will work though , but atleast you can edit it threw notepad instead of having to create a new one, or edit and wait like 10-20 minutes etc. I agree the old one is MUCH better and i still use it ! Tyler
Erind same here i cant see the option since prolly we are using the old code. however if you generate a code now it will be in the new format. However currently those using old code dont have option to automatically update changes from adsense account, atleast i dont have.
Maybe because of it's new for you. I will start to like it after using it some more few months actually, i also don't like new code, but i'm using it, .
Well.. I'm also in the favor of new code I remember when google changed their analytics as well.. I hated it then but now I'm use to it
yes i'm also using the old ones..hey, my TNR is better than adsense lol...but i've receive email from them about the autoplay problem. said that they will disable it lol...i hope they will not do it lol..plzz dontttt
