This industry has turned into a pile of crap. Everything is the same. The same sales letters, the same over saturated and EXAGGERATED claims that everyone is making. Just looking through this web site you see the same crap over and over, and it's just a headache now. Anyone that's looking to get into this industry as a "career" is sadly mistaken.

I personally know a number of people who are making a living, and a handful who are making outrageous amounts. some of their methods are less than genuine. the real trick is to find something that no one is advertising. secrets make money.
haha. Internet marketing is a lot more than SEO and content. some things are not meant to be. If it really disinterests you..try something else? I've done media buying, created affiliate programs, and traditional print advertising. now, I'm trying to other end which is SEO and affiliate enduser stuff. It's interesting. Maybe start your own company and YOU be the affiliate program and let other people work hard to market your product or service?
Nothing is easy in life and the same goes with the internet marketing industry. I've tried and tried different things online for the past 5 years and have had my ups and down's in the internet marketing industry along with lossing prolly thousands of dollars on crap. But even though i lost money, i did learn something from that experience. Eventually you'll find that one niche or 1 program that you know like the back of your hand and can then figure out a way to earn a few dollars from it with some marketing. Well since i just woke up 20 minutes ago and have had no coffee, i must make a pot before i fall asleep on the keyword. Never give up on your dreams online, the one day you give up is the one day that things may actually start to work out for you.
Agreed, everyone seems to have the "secrets" to making big on the internet. It's easier to sell the shovel then to dig for gold. That's why there are so many internet marketing products out there. Just readying stories on dp and other forums, apparently there are a lot of buyers because the people that know what they are doing are making money. Just think of it this way, if there are people out there that are making money doing the same thing as I am, then so I can. Just find your edge.

I cannot even begin to understand this How you conduct your own internet marketing business is entirely up to you Yes there are overhyped products out there, but there are also some great promotional pages as well And there are loads of people making a decent 'career' level income from internet marketing What I hate is people painting all of us, internet marketers, with the same brush
There is a fair bit of crap out there. Granted. But I guess that is the situation with a lot of businesses. I know I can make money solely online because I do. I have tried some things that have worked and some that haven't but I'm still paying the bills. You could always get a "real world" job.
Drej, I think your right there are alot of the same crap floating around. What that means is opportunity if you can come up with a better way you can make a whole lot of money in a short amount of time.

It doesn't mean that since you have failed in internet marketing, the industry has become a crap. While 90% may be failed but the remaining 10% are successful and find out the reason for their success. Be innovative and smart working pays better than hard working
