I Hate Paypal - Come Inside If You Only Hate Paypal

This thread is for people who hate Paypal. Paypal really sucks ...

They limited my account when I received $6000 from one of my student and asked me for more information.

I provided all the requested information and even I refunded $6000 as I can not take a big risk of that.

Now, that transaction got refunded and it has nothing to with my business but Paypal is claiming my transactions are risky for them and they do not want to do business with me.

I had $2000 left in my account for the service I provided and I can not able to withdraw that too for 180 days..I had only choice to refund and accept through other payment options. I accepted some money by opening Paypal account for my Dad and now that account also got limited..

Can I file a case for all this inconvenience? How can I file a case and how much does it cost to pay lawyer ?

PayPal are the gangsters of commerce, they make there own rules as they go. Dont do buiness with them unless you can afford to lose the money cause there is always a chance with them.

More and more people are beginning to hate paypal and are putting up horor stories. Wonder what I should do. Just got an account with them. Perphaps I too will be joining you people soon?

 

I haven't had any issues receiving/paying money with PayPal.
But I've had some irritating experiences with their Customer Service. Their canned email responses are so old and unfriendly, I refuse to talk with them if I ever have a problem. I guess they accomplished their goal.

@Dennyboy.......part of the blame may be due to u.s. government's regulations on transanctions. Companies like Paypal don't want to risk being flagged for money laundering or drug transanctions, so they limit the amount an individual can receive or send in a day. You should of let the sender pay you the $6000 in portions with Paypal, Western Union, and a personal check.

 

You certainly can file a case. You file one in a court of law, and attorney fees
vary.

Of course, no one can guarantee you'll get the desired result.

 

Hello. My account was also limited by PayPal for "suspicious activity." They had ~$5,000 of my money. I beat PayPal and can tell you how.

1) Save every e-mail and every document you have provided to them.

2) Take screen shots of your account from the day you are locked and every time you give PayPal any documents. To do this, have the page you want to save on your computer screen. Press the "PrintScrn" key on your computer. Go into you word processing program or, if you don't have one you can use Microsoft Paint. Create a new document and press "CTRL-V" to paste the screen shot onto the page. Screen shot will only take a picture of exactly what's on your screen so you may have to do it a couple of times to get the whole page, but make sure you get everything.

3) Give PayPal what they ask for and each time you give them a document send an e-mail to appeal@paypal.com telling them you uploaded a document and demand they release your money.

4) File complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Dept. of Consumer Affairs and your state's Attorney General. They all take complaints online. Send copies of your complaints to appeal@paypal.com demanding they release your money.

5) Contact the media, any and all media - TV stations, radio shows, talk shows, news programs, filmmakers - anyone you can think of. Then send an e-mail to appeal@paypal.com telling them you have sent all of your backup to the media.

6) Call PayPal daily. Keep track of the name of the person you speak with. Tell them what you have done to get your account limitation removed and make notes of their responses.

7) After you have completed the steps above, call PayPal and ask to speak with a supervisor. If they won't let you, tell them you will drive to PayPal headquarters with all your backup and show them in person.

If all of this still doesn't help, take your documents to your local politician and file a complaint. Ask for help from Legal Aid.

paypal fraud me thrice i haaaaaateee paypal

 

I just got limited by them for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I was laghing at ppl until now who got limited, thinking they probably tried to do something fraud related, but now that I got limited as well, I somehow dont find the situation that funny anymore.
Im also starting to feel the paypal-rage...

 

This is why everyone should use moneybookers. I myself have had my pp account limited. (without reason).

 

I have just opened a Moneybookers account. But, most of the buyers prefer PayPal. Any solution?

reason is that my cedit card issuer inform them that that is stolen........ and i have it cant understad wat to do i send them my documents but no responce yet
