Do you not need to just verify your pay pal account, i believe when you get to a certain amount of money that has been traded through your account. Paypal for trade legislation reasons have to ask you to verify your accout details again. I had to do it last week, i had traded more than 650 quid in under a year. They did not hold my money though so i am not sure if this is the same thing, however be aware of this.

    Will.

Just bloody verify your account, and stop spamming with PayPal sucks campaigns. Everyone who follows PayPal's instructions has a wonderful time with them. I'll take the account off your hands if you'd like. I verified via bank account, SSN, and phone number, and have never had a problem.

Paypal isn't as good as it used to be for unverified members. One payment received and you will be limited. Just verify from day one and you shouldn't have a problem - simple as.

Its a common case when You recieve big amount in You account, So You gotta scan your documents and Upload them, Right after uploading call the customer support and update them that you have uploaded all the required documents..

Upload copy of Your national ID to prove your identity
Upload Your utility bill to prove Your address

Upload them as much documents as You can ;)

    Good Luck

I've had many problems with paypal as well. They've stolen approx $2500 over a few years from me. Problem is that ebay practically only uses paypal as a payment method so it's hard to sell things on there.

Get the buyer to pay the money in chunks, thats what I do with everything over $100. I never leave more than $100 in the paypal balance either.

^^ That will actually get the account flagged by PayPal. Not a good idea, either.

Yeah man, I understand your sufffering right now. I sold my old website for $700, I got the payment and those bitches suspended it for the same exact reason. It was a pain in the ass getting themon the phone. What I had to do is refunded the money to the buyer, had him send me 100 every day. And I would withdraw it every day.

Paypal sometimes acts as a good transaction medium and sometimes it is bad.

Though it is bad at times, commonly available for Internet Marketing. So, I prefer Paypal.
E-Gold with bloated security issues with browsers, never allow me to login most of the time and hence I hate E-Gold.

That sounds stupid, copy of PP should be enough in my opinion. Also that is not much money.

I can't imagine why PayPal continues this inane policy. I am going to launching my first product soon and the thought of them freezing my account for months scares me a lot. I will probably use more than one payment processor to get around the issue.

Usually foreigners have this problem when they sign up for paypal with wrong information. They get limited and then have no way to fix the problem.

Hi! Sorry to hear about your blocked account. I´ve been using a Paypal account to get paid by sites I signed up for about six months now. Till now, no problem at all.
I´ve read about this before, many users, even site owners, have their accounts blocked but after they send the pappers paypal asks they get the accouts and the money back. I´ve read many oppinions pointing out the same: only use paypal for small amounts.
Maybe you could try to fax them your papers or upgrade your account with a credit card for higher ammounts.
