I hate Adsense

48 clicks and 0.38 dollars earned. That is crazy

 

Maybe just a mix of low paying niche with slow economy?

I have flash games site. 90 % of the traffic comes form USA and UK

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure he was right. 0.38 dollars = 38 cents.
0.38 cents on the other hand means 38/100 of a cent, which =/= 38 cents.

Yeah adsense is like that these days, it'll probably get better as time goes by though.

 

Bad placement, low paying niche, crappy advertiser, etc. All reason for such low clicks

 

Arcade sites don't pay well.
One of my sites had a click for ~$1.25 last month. Wish that happened more often.

 

smartpricing is what happens when

* your clicks do not generate enough sales for advertisers.

* you have multiple adsense sites running in the same niche

* there is a glut of adsense based sites in any category sucking up the advertising dollars available.

In other words Advertiser a has a budget of $10.00 per day

Google takes it share which is probably $6.00

Leaves the pool of $4.00 to be split by Adsenseless Publishers

So if there are only 4 clicks then each Adsenseless Publisher should earn $1.00 ($4.00 / 4 = $1.00)

However if there are 100 clicks then each Adsenseless Publisher would earn just $0.04 ($4.00 / 100 = $0.04)

More clicks = even less money to be earned or what is known as smartpricing is implemented.

Those who can earn a living to support themselves with Adsense as their only revenue stream are few and far between....

Maybe you can put more contents on your page, so that adsense can crawl for a better keyword to be shown on ads.

 

Maybe you should turn on your "review ads" function and see if anyone is targeting your site with their one cent keywords.... ?

The review ads tab will list websites that have specifically chosen your site to advertise on - you may choose to review these advertisers before G lets their ads show up on your site

Also, don't crowd the page with ads!

At least you're GETTING clicks. That's good! With a little experience with your Adsense - your hate should subside.

yeah unless you are getting tens of thousands of views you often don't see any great amount of money with this...in my opinion cpa and referrall programs can work a lot better

The problem is not Google Adsense, it's your topic.

 

It is invalid clicks!

Don't ask your friends or anyone to click multiple ads on your site. This can get your account banned. This might be a warning to you.

 

Adsense earning is different with different types of country.
Perhaps it may be clicks only those keywords which pay low payout.
Some keywords are paying handsome amount with single click also.
Sometimes i earned just $ 0.01 per click and not more.

 

well, this niche (arcade games) has low adsense cpc rate, therefore the best way to monetize your site is through CPM network (try tribal fusion).

 

If you use adsense why do you first go into low paying niches and then start complaining?
