where you could search a phrase and find out how difficult it would be to get the top % placing for that term. Anyone know where this is, its effectiveness and any other tools that offer the same type of benefit? Thanks

Thanks so much Donna. That is in fact the tool. Do you know if they make one for MSN or Yahoo? Is there any other tools handy like this that are similar? Thanks again.

McDars Keyword tool is great also. Similar to what you were looking for www .mcdar.net/KeywordTool/keywordtool.asp you will have to remove the spaces...I do not have 10 posts

I threw in the http and I think that is where VB had the problem. Just make sure the weather is nice down there next week. I "have to" make a trip down there.

I am not sure how accurate that tool is.... It is an awesome tool but every SEO that I have spoken with tells me that when they check the term gift baskets is extremely competitive and will take a long time to get to the top page. That tool says that it should be easy witha ranking of 5367.......

I myself have found it rather difficult to get to the top with the term gift baskets.... I wish there was a tool that would tell you... you need this many number of backlinks with each page being a page rank of....

    lol
