Hi Guys! I had this unusual idea on how to advertise clickbank products offline: What I had in mind was to buy car magnets and advertise on the magnets those 'Run your car on water' or 'Convert to electricity', or 'Run your car on cooking oil' and place the magnets either below or above this driver's side handle, where it is in clear visibility. I would go around, or get someone to and place these magnets on car in the street (on the road of course) and in car parks or at shopping centres or even shopping strips. Just wondering what your inputs are? Thanks!
I don't think it would be cost effective, but the only way to know is to try it. I think you would be much better off using adwords or similar to target people that would be more likely to purchase. You have the magnet cost (say 50 cents or more) and you need to value your time for placing them (there are laws in some part of the US that would prohibit placing any type of advertising on cars). You would be pretty much doing a shotgun approach to marketing (which is going to have a much lower conversion rate than a much more targeted ad campaign).
Personally I wouldn't use magnets, if I saw someone put one on my car I would be pissed off actually. Try fliers first and they're a lot cheaper.
Now you're thinking more like corporate gifts, in the line of pens and whatnot. Something inexpensive, utilitarian and which can spread the message-like handkerchiefs with your LP url and some bullet points or styrofoam cups, one of those alcohol coated freshening towels, that sort of thing.
Yes, Well I guess pens, cups, hankies, fliers.... that could be one way to market CB offline!! What about Newspaper Ads? Now that's funny, but still... the Money & Employment part of Clickbank would reach alot of prospects!!
