I gotReferring sites traffic

    Hi,

    suddenly in analytics I got Referring sites traffic was 31. that came from only www.google. co.in. What is it means. i didnt understand this. if we get google.co.in that should shown under search engine traffic. What is means. nay one please explain me.

    If you suspect you are getting stats from another site through the referral visits, there's a good chance they are using your GA tracking ID and as a result their stats appear in your GA. Not a lot you can do about this, if these visits persist after a few days try contacting the webmaster of the offending website.

    The meaning of your question is you got 31 visitors in a day avg from google. But google is not refering site so it can't show like that. It must be search engine traffic. fb, twitter, forums, etc follow referring site range

    www.google.com and www.google.in is different and it do separate with. Do not mess up fot those. mostly you can find google organic or google cpc or someting else which they provide a clear data for you. If you do not know where there from , you can further search and click on it.

    there are problem in the analytics it will be right in some time some time these problems due to the program function that in the tracking code

    i am also facing the same problem . analytic showing google.co.uk & google.com as referral sites.
    may be google universal search has got something to do with this //
