I had it for a while, but it sucks unless you got 2gb + ram. I had 1gb and just the OS took up my whole 1gb, and I could barely run anything because it was running purely on pagefile (virtual ram). It's good for people with 4gb or 8gb or sometimes 2gb ram if you don't run huge programs. Much faster than XP & Vista.
I can confirm everything with the OP it is faster and stable then vista was. All problems that i had in vista have been fixed in windows 7, also it uses alot less resource from CPU and RAM. Very happy with windows 7, hope it does good in sales.
Probably, but it won't stop other viruses taking advantage of a possible windows 7 bug. Just cautious that's all, I am going to get it, just not now.
Has anybody done a speed check or comparison to XP- i am curious...it seem microsoft has "stepped up its game" this time -less testing by the market.................
It is quick and superfast. The excellent thing is startup and turn off also force shutdown. I am happy to say i have got the habit of shutting the system. lol. Save power
I would prefer to use XP over Vista or Windows 7 as XP is faster than both of these OS and require less RAM to run.
Vista still works great for me but i have seen Windows 7 and it looks like the modified advanced version of Vista.... easypeoplesearch.com Find People
