Is the one being sold on October 22nd any differant than the last RC? Im running the last RC and its good until June I believe and then I have to buy it. If there's no changes from the last RC I will wait to buy it.

Hmmm! Well i m also likely to purchase Windows 7 soon! because Vista was biggest disappointment i had but am sure that W7 will surely rock after XP!

What minimum system requirement! does it require for better performance

If you have Windows XP now, do not upgrade to Windows 7 as it is very time-consuming to do and some of your programs will no longer work. If you have Vista, then it is easier to upgrade. I would wait until I got a new machine and then install Windows 7 on it which will ensure compatibility with all of the hardware and easy installation.

Should be: "FASTER than XP, ACTUALLY STABLE, unlike Vista."

I've had it since testing started. It's a great OS. However I'm not going to put out the cash for it. Once they make the testers buy the software I'm reverting back to XP.

I like Vista but I like what you can do with the widgets on Windows 7...I'll probably stick with Vista for now.

As of now (i have used for 20 days), no crash.

I have got the shutdown habit because of winows7, since it loads shutsdown faster and startup is also clean

I may be upgrading from XP To Vista soon because they are going on the cheap. 7 seems like it requires way more RAM

Well did i read that correctly?

Are you going upgrade from xp to vista or xp to w7.

Vista and w7 almost have similar hardware requirements. (mostly similar)
