I got this email from yahoo is this correct or fake

spoofing emails is really easy ...

If you ever recieve a suspicious email from someone you do not know, just delete it.

 

i delete all the suspicious mail but this is from yahoo that why i ask

 

it's a big fake , scammers just don't know what to do to cheat you.

If I want I can send to you a e-mail from vatican or white house.
Look at the header of e-mail , then go to http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp introduce the ip adress from the header in the imput field and you will get the real server that sended your e-mail.

Yesterday I got a e-mail that I win at Microsoft loterry.
Maybe yahoo will implement a filter to block not only e-mail address, but ip range and hosts.

If you send an email with a PHP script you can make the address from which it was sent to any email address.

 

the mail was in html format not php

 

dood he is saying that people can send an email from a php script and make it from any address they want......

 

the format of the e-mail is text,hml,image,pdf but not php.
He use a php script, like you use a software to send you a html e-mail with a fake e-mail address.
But you can do this even with outlook.

Log into your Yahoo! Mail account.

• Go to the paragraph titled Messages and Locate the Show Headers heading and select "All."

• Click the "Save" button to put your new settings into effect.

Once this setting is saved, go back and open your email and you should view the headers.

In the header look for the field X-Originating-IP: [207.106.200.9](ip adress)

verify the ip with a who is it online tool and you will get the real sender

In the header you will find the real sender and the real ip.

php is a programming language like c,c+,visual basic,pascal ....
a php script is a code write in that language that do something,in the case above send e-mails

its someone has opened admin as yahoo id. its not from yahoo.

Do not even bother opening it...it is a fake.
And one more thing...those emails circulating around that "you have received a greeting card from a....whatever.....contain a very malicious worm.
DO NOT OPEN THEM!!!

If you really want to know, you can always get hold of yahoo and verify it with them? Most of of the time, some of the marketers/spammers would send an email to check if the email account is active or they could just send you to a page where they ask for your account info

 

Fake. Please don't spend any more time with it. You could make a real 500 bucks by now.
It just shows how spammers getting smarter day by day. If you would get an email from Ja-Gung Cho or Sarran Jalem offering you money if you help them you wouldnt believe it. But a big reputable company as Yahoo ! then you might consider it.
Very clever but we have to be better then spammers !
