I'm very surprise Google hasn't incorporated some Adsense click tracking tools in to Analytics to help their users deal with this sort of problem. Also if i was Google i would rather be presented with data from my own tools rather than from third party service that may or may not be accurate or working correctly.
i think thats a false email id. I have been banned with "significant risk" i don't know what does this mean..
Seems like Adsense would notify you in the control panel for Adsense. That would be the right way, seems like there is just a rash of these bans going on and I can't figure out why Google wouldn't give some publishers the benefit of the doubt or maybe invalidate a certain amount of clicks if received by one IP. Google's recent ban and delist policy is just too extreme and feels like they are abusing their power as a search engine. Everything they are banning people for can be programmed out of Adsense and Google Search they just choose not to correct their search engine. Something tells me there will be a lawsuit after a while, for instance if Google banned Microsoft sites from their search engine and kept them from being found wouldn't that be an anticompetitive practice? Internally at Google if I were running the show I would be wanting to know, who is banning people automatically and do they always have Google's best interest at heart? Since we know all bans are done by a single person at Google, lets say that person doesn't like what you have to say or is biased. Is that a reason to get banned? Should one solitary Google employee looking at click trends have a right to ban you without walking it up the chain?
Yes i agree, Google creates free tools for everything under the sun but can't manage to create some to help publishers manage their accounts and keep them safe from click attacks that are basically out of our control. To me it's like they "want" to have to ability to knock you out of the system with no recourse when they deem fit.
False! There is a script to send fake e-mails from any domain @google.com @god.com @microsoft.com Any !
is genuine, -uk may well be, so don't discount it. Email back and ask them -> Ad tracking - openads (.org) is brilliant, give that a blast. George
True this one free to download will send appearing from any address you want. http://www.tareeinternet.com/forum/free-scripts/220-anonymous-email-script.html However the headers will always show the true origin.
Still no reply from either email address. I replied to the original and forwarded the original to the valid adsense address. Surely there should be an automated response to say they got the email? I mean, when you send spam emails about Ebay and Paypal they quickly respond to let you know whether or not it is valid or not. Just another reason why I am turning heavily towards affiliate ads. At least there's almost zero chance of being banned from that! This is it. I try my best to do everything by the book and keep my sites clean and the big "G" seems to be making it very difficult in all areas of online marketing. I'll be patient and wait for some sort of response. Sigh!
That right there may be the clue to your dilema.... You have 100s of sites...... But are they 100s of quality sites? or 100s of sites drawing irrelevant clicks from overseas??? If your using .com sites or any others with mainly US advertisers then your traffic had better be coming from the USA for the most part. When it gets flipped around and you have more international traffic hitting domestic based advertisers you can kiss your account bye bye... Yahoo slapped the crap out of me for the same thing with the proxy sites I ran. I flipped them all into Godaddy Premium Parking...smashed that for some nice $$$ and now I see they are splitting my traffic stats to Clicks & US Clicks lol The rest of the world does not matter to US advertisers it seems..... Hope it helps...sign up the wife, mom, dad, brother, sister, 3rd cousin on your moms aunts side... and get a PO box to mail the check from the new adsense account or something if I said that out loud....
Your a lucky bugger why the heck did you not get banned, not that i would like it if you did, but just why? I thought google just automatically bans for invalid clicks, they seem to love to do it. Will.
i got banned without any warning for no reason whatsoever imo.. when i appealed and asked why they banned me they wouldn't answer and told me they cant discuss the details
No the technical junk, it will have IP's, SMTP details etc. Example, this is one from Godaddy to my Gmail a while ago, i'll bold the IP's and when you look it up on arin.net you will see it resolved to Godaddy. Do that with yours and see if it resolves to Google. The from email address may be faked, but the headers will tell the true story.
wow, at least they send you a warning email, they didn't send me anything, just disable my account, i submit the online appeal form and some email week after that, still no reply.
Oh crap! http://ws.arin.net/whois/?queryinput=64.233.166.130 I gotta find out who's clicking the ads. Time for software.
