    file a claim at papal
show them the scammer thread and the sales thread letting them know you didn't get what you paid for.
You should get your money back

Why would you buy an Iphone on DP?

This is your fault, you most likely will never get you money back.

well you do have some luck since its tangible.

    1. Paypal Dispute
    2. CC Charge back (higher chance - just make screenshot of the messages)
    3. Bank Charge back (slow and uncertain)

I am doing a Paypal dispute with picture proof of PMs and Links to the current topic, and the link to the proof of scam.

Thats enough to get my money back?

When you are usually dealing with members that you haven't yet got to know too well, always make sure to pay for the item by credit card via paypal. That way, you are fully protected. When you pay with a credit card, you can initiate a chargeback usually in 30 days depending on your credit card company. When the chargeback is casted, there is a 99% of you getting your funds back.

If the item physical object, then you do still have the battle on your side. The seller has to provide tracking numbers of the package. But if the seller is well equipped, then he/she would send you a brick in the mail, so they could get a tracking code. Then as soon as you sign for the item, you've lost all hope.

Then, just hope for the best. The only downfall is the if he removes your funds from his account. And his account has a zero balance, then even if you do win the dispute, you'll still get no funds, since the funds are not placed on hold. So the scammer can use the funds as his discretion awhile the case is ongoing.

Talk to the guy and ask for your money back. If that doesn't work start a paypal dispute.
