    Hi Guys,

I am in desperate need of you guys' help. I have been scammed by a person called Chester Chen, who himself refers as online entrepreneur.

you can find him on http://www.dzesire.net/

Even though I know his sites, I could not do anything with it, so I need your help as how can I get back my money. I am freelance writer and I worked with him almost one month giving around 50-75 quality articles, but after taking all work, he started saying stories after stories like PayPal has blocked my funds, I dont have enough funds in my new PayPal and so on.....I know he is a big liar, still I am unable to do anything with him...

Please people, help me getting my funds back, as it is my hard earned money and I dont want to donate it to person or scammer like CHESTER CHEN...He earns a lot, but still denies things...

If anyone could help me, please PM or reply to this thread.....or you can contact that person scammer on (chester@dzesire.net)

    Awaiting your reply guys,

    kichu ;(

I dont know where he got my id (perhaps on craigslist)...I worked for him nearly one month delivering high quality articles...but he said, I will pay in bulk..and after sometime, he paid $100 when his due was $200...but i continued working...then after two days..there was dispute happened and PayPal reversed his money to him, by that time...his dues got ended up $350...when I asked, he said "My PayPal account got blocked, so I cant pay now" will pay after two days thru WesternUnion and all..

when I put a thread here first time, he came and agreed to pay something.....and paid $50 next day, but promised to pay rest within two three days, but still no clue about it....I mailed him 10 times..he did not respond to the mails....You know what, he earns a lot, if you check his website on google, you will come to know, but still he is cheating writers like us....

hope you understood what I am saying....

Another reason to only do business with reputable people who have references. Next time get the money in advance or just use some quality DP members for your transactions that have verified itrader, etc. Good luck getting your money back. At the very least you should retain copies of your content and register with copyscape(?) to ensure he doesn't use the ones he didn't pay for.
    Good Luck!

Hi, i only can give little bit advice. I hope my advice can help you. First, why not you try to contact paypal. I'm pretty sure his paypal account still active and he only make reason about his paypal account got banned. If you can make sure his paypal still active, then you can try ask paypal help you by attach the whole conversation you and him about all his illegal activity. I'm pretty sure paypal won't let their members use paypal account for fraud or illegal activity. Hope this advice can help you. Thanks

    1. Try doing a whois search across his domain names.
    2. Contact paypal.
    3. Run a google search of his email within quotes. I'm sure this will give you a way !

    Hope this helps.

There really isn't much you can do. PayPal is hit or miss with electronic goods. Most you can do is try though, won't hurt. Next time only deal with reputable people. getafreelancer.com is good. I don't do business with anyone here on DP because of the loads of scammers/fraudsters here, I wouldn't recommend it personally, and DP doesn't really care much.

Actual freelancer sites are the best like I said with getafreelancer.com. And demand at least half payment up front next time :D

As a freelancer, I always suggest every fellow freelancers ONLY work with those who are ready either pay in advance or in escrow. Even 50% advance payment also difficult some times.

If they are not ready to pay you in advance, why bother working for them? If they don't trust you, why they expect you to trust them?!
