I got RIPPED OFF...what can I do??? NEED ADVICE???

    I purchased a site $145, the guy promised me free hosting for 1 year, now he has disappered??? PlZ advise???

    As I want to track this guy down via PayPal and the owners of this site, as they NEVER RETURN EMAILS...

    you pay through paypal ? you can tell paypal and start dispute and ask for refund.

    Did you get the website? I can help you out with some cheap hosting.

    But you won't get anywhere with paypal, websites are "virtual items". They therefore have no value other then their "quoted" offers.

    You will get somewhere with Paypal if you know what to say. Paypal will favour the buyer 99% of the time, even if the evidence all points to the opposite conclusion. Try saying the goods never turned up or something like that (technically they didn't as the hosting wasn't there). Don't lie though, as this could get you in BIG trouble.

    Yeah contact paypal..they generally freeze both the accounts until the dispute is settled. I hope they dont ask for a merchant account.

    As soon as the seller tells paypal it was a virtual intangible item. You've lost, that is unless you payed with a credit card.
