Getting Pr2 and 3 is not big deal. I got pr3 for my 5 sites in a month but, i am trying hard to get pr3+ for my sites.

 

Congratulations, but I think the jump from pr 1 to pr 2 is not an extraordinary effect.

 

The higher the PR of a page is, the bigger the gap is between it and the next PR. By that I mean it is a small step from 0-1, a bigger step from 1-2, a still bigger step to get from 2-3 etc etc. Also although the PR as given as a whole number it is measured by degrees, and then rounded down, so that a page which is e.g. 2.13 would be PR2 and so would a page that is 2.89.
It is updated continuously, but only published every few months, so that although when you look at whatever you use to check PR it seems to have changed overnight, it actually has been changing all the time. My site went live last May, and in the June update went to PR2, in August PR3 and November PR4, which is where it still is now. But as I have explained maybe it was 4.10 in November and is 4.70 now (or the other way around) and it would still be given as PR4.
If a site is launched just before a PR update it may well have done enough to get a PR2. Had it been launched 2 months earlier, just after previous update, it could quite likely still have the same PR2. In fact I launched another new site in November and that has just been given a PR3.

Well I also spend about 2 month to get PR 2 - the key is the content I think and backlinking!

Personally I'd like to get PR 5 just so I can say I did it, but that seems a bit of a pipe dream.
