Some of my sites went from PR0 to PR2 in today's PR update. But, I still do not appear any higher in SERPS. My sites are all less than 9 months old. Could I still be sandboxed? Would google give PR to a sandboxed site?
Gain maximum quality back links, and see the results. Let me tell you, revise your onsite optimization,
Yes google is updated my Pagerank too . Try to make an article with a low competition of keyword, and you will get some decent traffic from SE.
You won't get any traffic just by getting PR and a PR2 is nothing, you can get a PR2 with a single backlink. There's a long way to go in building backlinks with researched keywords before you can get a slice of google traffic. Anyway good job on ure PR update..
Google's internal PR is continually updated, so if you were due an increase in traffic you would have seen it weeks ago. What you see on the toolbar is simply a snapshot from the past. Congrats on the green gold!
pr... everyone thinks that it is soo important, but it really has no effect. Better serps are just all about the backlinks... (which lead to higher pr)
For better traffic try to target Keywords related to your NICHE. And do Off Page & On Page Optimization according to your targeted keywords. Use anchor tag for your targeted keywords during link building. It wud help to better SERP's.
My home page PR dropped from 5 to 4. Traffic, though, has been steadily rising over the past month up to the present day. That's partially because I've tried not to be a "one-trick pony" (PR) and have focused on securing referral and direct traffic, along with trying to do good SEO: • referral traffic through things like my DP signature, social bookmarking, and directory submissions. • direct traffic by providing quality content that people bookmark and return to. I've also recently added a "Bookmark" button on my three main pages. And finally, I conduct a fairly regular direct email campaign to highly-relevant "niche" targets.
PR is effected by the number of backlinks you have to the website mainly, it does not increase traffic and acts as a sort of status for your website. It does nothing else, however i do believe that it improves the sale quality of your website when you come to sell it. Will.
I totally know that PR does not mean more traffic. But, isn't PR part of the calculation that google uses when they determine the serps?
For the 1 trilion time PR doesn't mean traffic PR is just a number Wotthless All that mather are rankings ...
