I got penlize from google

my site http://www.1websitedeisgn.net got penalized in google coz some other site linked to me with the adress mysite.theresite.com but i did not put any link there or not linked to them it,s not my fault and if that is linked to that site why google penelized me if whatever it is porn or any other site.

It is your responsibility to keep your neighborhood clean, you could have stopped those bad robots through your robots.txt file

 

i've had sites penalized that stay in the listings but with hugely reduced rankings. You've not been penalized, you've been removed from the index completely.

You need to get those bad links removed. Have they scraped your content? If they have, contact their host about that, as well as google.

 

ya it has been removed from google index they were first when google removed them now they are not in my links list and i dont really remember the url of their site and what is meant by scraped.

How is it possible to damage a site buy just linking it?

 

It means some other websites copies all of your content into their site. If this happens, google can sometimes think the copying site is the original source, and you are the duplicate content, so your pages are not indexed. Check your webmaster tools if you cant remember the url of the site linking to you.

 

I dont think that google will penalize you or anyone for having links from porn or bad sites.

If this was true, then people will start putting their competitors links on such bad sites in order to get them penalized.

The only thing that can hurt your site rank or can get you penalized is if you link to some bad sites.

You cant control links to your site from bad sites.

Google will not count such links for your site, they will simply ignore them, and will not penalize you.

 

Your site will never be penalized for something someone else did. Otherwise we would all be doing it to our competitors don't you think???

 

I've been through this before, but thats not true. If the ratio of bad links/good links gets too bad then you can harm sites with external links only. It would be almost impossible to do any harm to an established website, but a new site thats not being aggresively promoted I reckon you could have it penalised at a cost of less than $1000.

 

I seriously do no think a site will be penalized due to inbound links. You cannot control who wants to link to your site. BTW, what do you mean by your site being penalized... I mean do you get a page rank drop?

If its SERP you are talking about, its not due to being penalize... ranking fluctuates depending on keyword competitiveness. You need to contunuously do link building

 

He doesnt have a problem with serps, he has a problem with being removed from the index so he's definetely been manually edited. I'm going over old ground again trying to explain this, but you can be penalised for sites linking to you.

 

That is not the reason google penalized your site. Anybody who knows seo know that Google does not penalize a site for something out of their control (such as a site linking to you). If that was the case, then anyone can sabotage a competitor by linking to them from a bad site. Now if you link to a bad neighborhood, spam, get caught using blackhat techniques on your site, keyword stuffing, then google will penalized your site. You need to figure out what you have done wrong.

Read the comment by JohnMu (google employee). You can have a site punished from external links only. I also learned this the hard way myself, a load of bad links to one of my sites (and nothing wrong on-page) and it ended up penalized, cant even rank for its own name.

 

but google mailed me the three of the sites whith the subdomain links and the links in yahoo with subdomains are not mine i dont know where they adopt my links and how they are able to grab a subdomain to my site perhaps somone else had complaint google about virus on these subdomains i think so is there this sort of reason.
