I update it daily... and it's good to update daily. I write 1 or 2 articles per day

 

How much traffic do you have? You may need to upgrade to a virtual private plan. It is LIKELY the problem is too many visitor or things running in the background (like some kind of mailing) that is maxing out the number of database queries at the same time. Any host is going to do this on a shared sever.

If it is really a bad host, why not move it?

 

I am not getting too much of traffic. I get nearly 450-500 unique visits per day.... will that traffic cause maxing out the no. of database queries??

My site will expire in one a half month, so after that i will be moving it to some good hosting company like godaddy

 

Geeks, normally no. That shouldn't be too many for a shared account.

I THINK the number many host use is 30 open files at once. It is doing to depend on how much of a drain you put on the server too. What is on your site matters.

Ask you host what the limit is. If it is under 30, start looking for others. Bluehost and Hostgator are two that a lot of people like. You can ask the hosting company, if your current one doesn't know, that's a bad sign. If you start a chat with Hostgator they will be able to tell you what there's is.

There will be people on this forum that know MUCH more about this than I do.

I've run into that error though it is usually worded different on a linux type machine.

Hostgator will also move your website for you. Well, at least they use to do that.

Last time I got the error, my site was sending out a bunch of emails because of a plugin installed. Not only got the error but the complaints from my visitors. I didn't realize it was going to do that.

Congrats.. How old is your site? I have started My site before 2 months. I got page rank 0. I've 22 backlink according to alexa. I did lot seo for my site also.
