So every once in a while in front of the little place I stay in Mexico there will be a stray kitten or a stray puppy. The American inside voice tells me I must rescue this little poor helpless stray creature and give it a chance at life. The Mexicans are used to stray aniamals, and have no apathy towards animals out here, even if they are just babies. Sometimes you will see kids or adults even try to kick or hit animals out here for no reason, it's totally fucked up. Different culture.. but anyway.. So now I have 2 cats. Had a great dog that bulked up nicely and guarded the house well but some Mexican stole it when it took one of its daily river excursions. Well the other day my favorite stray rescue cat who's grown up to be about 8 months now decided to cuddle up on the bed. Lo and behold I had no idea the fleas on this little bastard were so ferocious I got bitten about 5 times on my neck in my sleep. Somehow my body developed some kind of strange allergy to these toxic flea bites and they scabbed up about the size of a quarter. And I thought pimples were bad, this is totally horrible. I showed them to my GF and the first thing she said was "OMG HERPES" and wanted to make sure I used a condom with the last girl I was with (well, duh). Now you might be thinking "Dude use flea bath duh " but I've tried this. All the cats intermingle with each other and just get fleas again. It's like a stray cat flea orgy every night. So we have a new rule. No pets in the house. THE END
