Yeah, Godaddy wants your money as quick as possible, so even if the domain don't expire till said date, they don't mind if you pay them as early as possible. You would still get the full year you have already paid for plus next year whenever you renew, but Godaddy want to cover their ass if the domain would expire. Then they can say that "Hey, we sent you several reminders, don't blame us!" and of course would like to lock you in as a customer and ake you pay as soon as possible. because of that, Godaddy will send out 90 days renewal notices, yu will get new at 60, 45 30, 15/10, 5, 3 and 1 das left or so.

Yes they do. Just make sure you activate the Auto Renew features inside the Domain Manager.

    I have to activate it?

I though it's already activated when you purchase the domain name.

I didn't remember whether Auto Renew is set by default or not because all of my domains with Godaddy is set to be manually renew right now.

Autorenew is good option, but sometimes domain names you are not willing to renew are being renewed. Make sure you know about that.

Log in at Godaddy and see what your choices are. Check or uncheck as it appllies to your situation.
