I got my first sale, but cancelled it later

I noticed my first sale on CJ with commission of $88.68 on 7th march, but now payment balance is showing as zero. After checking further then found that transaction cancelled due to Invalid Credit Card

There is any possibility that transaction went through even after providing invalid credit card details? Anyone have such experience.

In the past too I had promoted same company through different affiliate, that time too I had loosed commission of $330 for 3 sales, and support team told me(As you assumed the reason why a sale disappears from the pending status is because the person who made the sale cancels.). So I find it doubtful and moved to cj but there also same experience.

Sometimes if advertisers receive fraudulent leads, they will not payout the revenue to the company they received it from. That might be what happened in your case.

This is why I think sometimes CJ sucks.I think this is total failure of their entire system.

 

I think its very much possible. Some sites I have owned in the past have had large charge back percentages (25%). What was the product sold that pays the affiliate $88?

 

Some times it happens. Many people have the same experience. It is very unfortunate.

This can happen with every cps programs. Happened to me several times.

there is any possibility that those vendors use cj for affiliate provide any false/fake data to CJ after getting order?. then i can avoid promoting their products/service in future.
