I got an infraction for posting a thread with do follow link sale now came to know its not allowed, after receiving an infraction But I saw there are hundreds of such threads available in the market place section just search with dofollow keyword, the result will come in hundreds so what about them ? My point is not that why these threads weren't binned my point is that the rule, which says "Stumbles / Diggs / Social Bookmarking / Social Networking - No buying or selling of services; no exchanges; no freebies. (This also includes microblogging services like Twitter, Tumblr, Spoink, etc. or any other social network)." - doesn't clearly state that do follow link selling is disallowed. No where in the rule is written the "blog" word or the "dofollow" word increasing the possibilities of misunderstanding of the newbies, and all people come here are not accustomed with good English to get the point from that rule. So after getting an infraction only people get that what the rules meant to say. Now I always love rule as they help to run a forum, but non transparent rules are sometimes misguiding. So I request the authority to look into the matter. DP is an excellent place, and staff are doing a great job, really praiseworthy. Thanks & Regards.
I agree on that.. They should make the rules more specific and direct.. for some users to understand and avoid this from happening again..
Totally agree with you dude. Same thing happened to me... I got an infraction for that too and I had no idea that it wasn't allowed.
Yes we will always try to do that in the meantime I didn't get my answer that indicates either i was unable to make my point or ... as I said, rules are always good, and it should be followed strictly but to follow anything we have to understand it first, clearly but sadly we don't acquire such knowledge of getting points out of the rulebook In the above example i tried to give a view of the problem Take this thread as a suggestion, not a criticizing comment so that we understand the rules better and work of staff member are easier as we don't break rules intentionally, who wants to kill a golden goose ?

I got the part about Infraction point... but ban was due to simply asking question? Hope I don't get ban for asking this either... just asking because he was a reputable writer and have done business with.
what your missing is its not your business. if people actually followed the rules and didn't cry about it when they got caught, life here would be so much more pleasant.
Members don't get infractions for asking questions...however moderators do get annoyed when the answers are available and members choose not to look for them. Members DO get infractions for complaining about infractions.
anything related to social bookmarking isn't allowed ? I mean get paid for following in twitter, bookmarking a web page, or something like that..
