I got dugg That actually came out as a total surprise I noticed the site was down and contacted hostgator support, apparently there was too much traffic, so they had to disable the site. I thought it was all from netscape, as that page was also featured in second and then 1st place on netscape (over 100 votes), but netscape doesn't have that much traffic, so that was weird, untill i noticed the story got over 400 diggs heh But I think the site went down very quickly, unless it might have had more diggs Guess I'll have to upgrade the hosting account now, so if you want some tips, there you go: 1. add friends 2. add more friends 3. submit a good story, with a catchy title! and get a better hosting ..
It's a shame that your website was down when you got on the front page. You must've lost good amount of PPC revenue (if you use it). Anyways, I have tried a lot but never got succeeded. Congrats
Have a dedicated server! I have a 100% success rate of submiting my own page to Digg...and having it hit da front page. Before I submited it, I made da page as DOS attack friendly as possible, aka, no php, using 100% static except a few SSI codes, and not having a bazillion images!
nah, diggers don't click ads. if you have a blog though it might bring you lots of return visitors and some strong links. So hope I get some nice links there I got a few dedicated servers and vps's, just wasn't expecting this, so this site was on shared host ninno, how many pages did you submit to digg?
Only one!!! Think 7 Billion pages of Google SPAM!!! That'll get Diggs!!!! I've done a few others, but they wern't my pages.
