It sounds perfectly legit to me, and the figures you're making sound high enough for you to be considered for the apex or premier programs. Yes clickbank DOES reach out to you, in fact my apex guy goes as far as to recommend me to other vendors and vice-versa and or approaches other affiliates for me sometimes (and vice versa). Though it's not frequent, CB is starting to reach out to it's higher profile pubs/affs more often this year, and personally I think it's absolutely awesome and much needed. As stated in previous posts, simply opening the headers of your email should be enough to see if it's legit, and if it is keep doing what you're doing you're probably being recruited for premier during this phase. TIP: When you log into your account, if you ever see a 'live chat' button top right during their normal business hours, it means you're in (apex/premier) N.
Yeah it could be from Clickbank, not really a big deal. OR if it isn't, it could be from some affiliate with psychic powers? Btw, I am beginning to see some great products in the psychic powers, third eye, remote viewing, supernatural niches. This is going to be a great niche to build a list in! (A big hint)
Lets not get that far .. I don't even understand why you guys are making so much fuss about an email Al.
me neither. Just wanted to know if anybody else had received it. And find an explanation why I can't reply it. Tomorrow clickbank will probably reply my support message. Then we'll know what this all is about
OMG, ANYTHING LIKE THOSE KIND OF EMAILS WITH NIGERIA BANKS ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMS ON THE INTERNDET, BUT PEOPLE FALL FOR THEM EVERYDAY. PLEASE HON, DON'T EVER RESPOND TO THOSE!! BEST REGUARDS, Melanie aka writer 1972 P.S. This really makes me wonder if I had done something...See my thread I just posted about someone hacking into my Clickbank, and gettng $0 sales after 3 years. However working my buitt off, and doing okay wityh google along with them.
Seriously - how do you know that? Just because YOU have never received a personal email from Clickbank, doesn't mean they don't exist.
I don't think Clickbank will send such mails to its affiliates or vendors. It takes a minimum of 2 -3 days to respond a simple query then how can one expect a congratulatory message from Clickbank.
If you guys read your emails the way you do these threads.... Then yeah, clickbank has probably never contacted you.
I'd be wary, but I also wouldn't automatically assume it's spam. The fact that you can't reply is a bit worrisome, though.
How come you all people conclude that mail was a spam?...just because you didn't receive any mail like that. What can you say is .."I've never received a mail like that...I'm not a super affiliate". Anyway...Congrats for getting lotta sales
Alright dude - go into your email and look at the full headers. I can forge email from any SMTP server on the 'Net - here is how you do it (from a linux system): telnet server name 25 ehlo local.test mail from:<sally@clickbank.com> rcpt to:<the address I see on your DP profile> Subject: hey you are awesome! I read on DP or some other forum that you're making good money on CB. I'm pretending to be someone from CB to social engineer you into some scam. So please be gullible and respond to me! Maybe that's what happened? You can only tell by looking at the full header of the email you were sent. It is VERY rare to hear a word from anyone at CB - especially congratulating you for being an affiliate. Just be careful (and for the love of God - cloak your affiliate links!)
The only strange thing is that in the email they didnt mentioned that he is now an apex/premier or anything. And as far as i know apex/premier have already been selected back in april (if i remember well when i recieved the notification) But probably its some kind of other thing to help affilaites, which is quiet a good thing for everyone
Good news, all of you who thought it was some kind of spam were wrong. I got a reply today to my clickbank support ticket about this. They forwarded the support ticket to the "client service representative" who reached out to me in the congrats email. she answered me there have been troubles receiving emails and to paste my resplonse in the ticket email. I'm glad this is no spam, and it is clear now this is something "new" from clicbank since nobody has ever talked about this here. OR are there people out there who got this same kind of message?? And I'm no apex/premier or any kind of that premium member. Just some higher figures then normal.
Do people even read the thread before replying anymore? Good god there are a lot of idiots on this forum.
