Hi, I am student, and got an adsense account a week ago. I generally accessed the account from a computer in my lab, which all the students in the lab share. All of our friends share blogs and keep commenting on them (like a community). Everything was going ok till a friend of mine made my blog as his homepage (to help me out he claims, he doesnt take anything seriously)and started using adsearch. I presume he clicked too many times on the paid ads and he was working on the same computer only as a different user. Google banned my acocunt and even after letting them know the truth they are not giving me a second chance. I am devastated. Is there a way I can get a second account? because I had provided my SSN, will my SSN itself be banned also? so does that mean I am banned for life without actually committing a fraud directly. Please help, Thanks
Someone else is allowed to sign up as a publisher, family member etc.. I dont believe its against the TOS but you can check.
(Mumbles to self: Self, is this not deja vu? I thought I read a similar thread here at DP - college student on college network yadda yadda banned from adsense...) You might want to try a search of digital point forum "adsense ban college" I am pretty sure I saw this before here.
Put up ads from: www.7search.com www.targetpoint.com www.bidclix.com www.bidvertiser.com Yahoo is coming out with a program soon and so is MSN. Your best bet is this, never tell your friends or family about your sites and don't click on your own ads from the other programs if you get paid on a click basis.
I guess I will have to talk to some family members.. I do have another question though ... I am not a US resident just a student here. Can I register for adsense here and have the revenues goto my country .. (I am atax payer there), what information would they require in that case?? Thanks
hmm You simply has to reaply with simply a New Address, but apply this time with new IP, Computer and Address. Same name even. Than let me knwo when you are approved i will let you know how you still can use adsense Ads
As far as using your SSN, geez. Sorry to hear that, but if you seriously want to generate revenue via ads for your websites(I know it's only a blog right now) you can start a small company(sole proprietorship) and get an EIN(a SSN for a company), and start back up. Seek advice from those running businesses, or an accountant. Before doing so, I highly recommend you don't pass around information in such a way that it can be abused. Example, access your pages at a public computer, or 'imply' for others to click on your site. hth, tom
Google has your name. When you try to apply, thier little algo will pick it up and throw out your app. Any webpages that had adsense are also thrownout. You will need entirely new info.
Shez I am on it. I will do as you said and I hope I am allowed access this time. Can you give me your email (or i will send u a pm is thats fine) so that I can inform you once I am approved Thanks Thanks tommy for the nice Idea, I may use it sometime ....
AdSense has no forgivensess when it comes to this...and they shouldn't. I think they should raise the age limit to 21 years old (no offence rubin_trend). It just doesn't seem fair that bright, young people should have to pay the ultimate price with no second chances. We must realize this is not a kids game, it's a serious business with great opportunity. Now we are trying to find ways to cheat to get back in...seems a oxymoronic. I feel bad for you but the way they see is you are the author of your own destiny with AdSense. PS I would be careful taking advice from red squares
I totally agree with this. Seems that every kid out there is getting banned... I wonder why... And I sure agree to that also...
Go dumpster diving or look through the garbage of some people in your neighborhood and steal their identity and use this new identity to sign up for AdSense again.
That's a good idea. And I'm not trying to be condescending here. If AS was available when I was in college, I am 99% sure that--among the other stupid things I did back then--I would have been banned for abusing AS system. I also messed up my credit back in those days but at least you can repair a credit history (it may take 7 years but it's doable.) With AS, once you're out and your appeals have been denied, I guess that's that. Or may be it's possible to get reinstated after 2-3 years? Who knows. AS is still too new. AmCy
