Hi All I applied and got accepted from Google adsense about 3 years ago but after about a year I got my account cancelled (yes I was clicking my own add etc). Since then I have grown up and my site has became very popular. I have applied for adsense again in the past but I was unsuccessful. Is there no way possible to add Google adsense banners on this website anymore? Does the account register to the website, person, email or home address etc?? I am currently in the process of making many new websites which I would also like to add adsense banners. Will I be able to register using these sites with my home address etc or will I need to use another name. One last question.... if I go on to sell the website which the new account is assigned too can I still use these banners on other websites?? Cheers Alex James
You'll never be able to use Adsense on a domain that has been flagged by them as being associated with your banned account.
adsense is not the end of the world. there are lot of other contextual programs you can use. if your niche is a good fit for an affiliate program, you can try that too
It is the end of the world. I never made any big money with adbrite or any of the other once. Adsense is still king. Do not use your adress or same hosting. Use mother father or something else. Selling a domain to someone else will remove the ban i bought a banned domain and asked Adsense and they say yes ok we put it back more then once.
Think about how much you could actually make with adsense. If its really worth the time doing that by going through a family member for the adsense
If you have some half way decent sites then it can be worth the trouble of setting up a new account with the name of a relative. Maybe you get luck and the Yahoo publishers program will finally go international.
this is probably the best thing you can do... sell it to your family member... and then use it as your own. never know, after a year or so, buy it back from your family member...
1. Apply under a family member's name. 2. Deliberately use typos in your address (the cheque will still get delivered!) 3. Use a different phone number 4. Make a blog on blogspot with 20-25 medium length posts and apply for adsense for this blog, it'll get approved very soon
Forget everything above and do the following: 1. Contact adsense support and give a full and honest account of how stupid you were and how you are now more mature and responsible. 2. Apologise and be sincere 3. Make a request to be considered for re-inclusion and state how you will fully comply with adsense TOS. If successful, you will be reinstated into Adsense but will need to ensure you fully comply with their TOS or you will risk a life ban. Regarding the domain name used when you were banned, Is it still the same domain name you are using now? Or is it a different domain that has become more successful? If it is a domain that was banned, you may get back into the Adsense program but might not be able to use it on the banned domain (unless they also lift the ban on the domain name).
Perhaps If you could email them and tell how the situation is and tell them that you have changed and wont click anymore your own ads must be an option. Make sure you make a formal request rather than a vulgar Caps On request
Thanks for your replies, there are a few options there which i proceed to do. One little note that i am still unsure, is it me banned or the domain name, or both?
*sorry....and if i get approved (or use someone else) to have an account, can these banners be placed on all the different domains i own or will i need to specific to google each different domain ?
You need just one account. If you are banned then use your wife's, childs, fathers, mom's name to get new account with NEW site (say www . abc . com). When you get one account you can use it anywhere you want. When you sold the site abc . com then also you can use adsense on your other sites.
I agree. I know some people working at Google (but not in the AdSense team... unfortunately ) and I can tell you that they are definitely not stupid. Probably half of their resources are dedicated to finding fraud. If you try something sketchy you'll probably get even more banned in their database. Just contact them and explain, it's your best bet. If it doesn't work, wait some time (at least a year) and try again. Don't try anything blackhat.
Well, It is nice that you admit what you did, most people won't even do that . I would agree with try explaining the situation to google. We all should have a second chance in life
if you have banned adsense before, you are not allowed to join again. adsense banned persons are not allowed to join the network again. on the other side, you may try to register adsense with different name but your new adsense account may be banned because relation to a banned account. good luck with your new web sites
You can only have one adsense account. If you make another, then you will most probably be banned. I suggest you contact adsense support and request them to enable your account.
