Hello I got an email from google saying "It has come to our attention that invalid clicks or impressions have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s) through users of third-party programs paid or provided with other incentives to visit your site. Such programs may include, but are not limited to auto-surf, pay-to-surf, pay-to-read, or pay-to-click sites" My question is simple what is an example of a pay-to-read, pay-to-surf, and pay-to,click site? Also can we use any type of advertising other than search engnies to send traffic to our site. Can we use manual-surf programs to send traffic to our site. an example would be trafficswarm. My last qustion is can we use popups on our site with google adsense? Thanks for the help, Brian My url's are http://www.allgamesallday.com and http://www.allgamesarcade.com. in reference to autosurfpro.com I've never seen a program like this. Is it a legal, or accepted practice?

Are legal to use, but why? Google gives you a good reason why autosurfs, manual surfs, ptr's and ptc's are useless. All these programs do is give you invalid impressions and terrible traffic. If you must use these programs, create a splash page that has no adsense on it. The splash page can lead then to your main site if the surfer so chooses to click on the link.
I think Popups can be used as long as they are not password protected and have enough content in them to generate meaningful ads. Popus that act as message boxes are of no use. I dont know this well but i have seen some websites like this
