I got a workstation in my home lol :)

    Yeah here are the specs :) (I won't go too technical)

    Processor: Intel i7 930 2.8GHz Processor;
    Graphics: ATI HD5850 1GB;
    Hard Disk Drive: 1TB Serial ATA-II;
    Memory: 12GB DDR3-1333;
    Optical Drive: 24 x DL DVD+/-RW Drive;

    What do you think? Is that good for gaming as well?

    PS: Which laptop do you recommend for daily use? (No gaming lol) I got a budget of $800-1200 for that :)

    This should be very sufficient for gaming. I don't know much about laptops so I can't help you with that, unfortunately.

    You should definitely look at getting an SSD drive, at least as your OS drive. You can use the 1TB SATA disk for your data etc.
