For about 1 year ago one of my sites got banned. I think it was because of too much RSS content. I have checked it from now and then and today I noticed that the site have pr0! I couldn't be quicker to do the site: check and there it was, 32 pages indexed (Yahoo have 1200 indexed but it's not the same thing) And the only thing I have done with the site is to take away most of the feeds so it don't update so frequently. I also took away Adsense So maybe Mighty Google want less frequently updated pages without Adsense I have not done a thing to market the site for a year. No links, no nothing. Have this happened to you too?
Congrats on getting unbanned. When you were banned did you lose PR and get all pages removed from the index?
Well the sandbox period are around a year for domains like .com other top-domains don't have the ability to get sandboxed! Really!
Congratulations on the unban. One of my site is also banned from yahoo and I don't know why. That site had got banned and unbanned before but now they have banned it again
the number one reason for getting banned is - making a site for advertising/search engine and not for the people. number 2 - no content number 3 - not showing what was promised.
how can you tell if you're banned? i've used the banned checker tools but I don't see how i could be banned if I am indexed
I am not sure if one of my sites was banned, but I think it was. The domain was parked for a while. I decided to use the domain and added the domain to my Google webmaster tools. The site was crawled for 15 days and the crawling stopped for over 45 days or more before I noticed anything about the site. I trade traffic with a few small sites so, I get traffic daily to this site. I think the crawling stopped because there was very little content on the page. I have since completed the site. Within the last two weeks I have been attempting to get Google to crawl the site again. I submitted a site map which Google checked within hours. A week passed and still no crawling, I resubmitted a sitemap and two days ago Google started crawling that site again. That site is still not indexed but the crawling by Google has happened twice consecutively, so I hope to get indexed soon.
Are you sure that it's really get banned? or could it be just de-indexed by google for some reason other than ban?
Thanks folks! The site didn't have any PR. Yes the pages was removed. This one is a .info The pages was remowed from the index. When you do a site: search and Google says that it have no results, the site have got a ban. What do you call it when G de-index your site? Clap on the shoulder?
Congrtaes on getting your site unbanned, but are you sure what you did is the reason foe getting unbanned.
if the sites arent to bad they un ban them after awhile but if your doing very bad stuff they wont never let it back.. CONGRATS its always good to get un ban im happy for you
