(sorry, I have to post this in general becuase there is no forum for this problem) I need help with this. I've been helping a friend who is very new to webmastering. He wanted something simple, so I told him I'd hook him up with an arcade. I got him to register the domain at domainsite.com and get hosting at urlhost so he did so. After that I had to wait for the domain to propagate. I ended up putting it in my favorites without thinking I was in the parked url which is differant. Finally the thing was ready and I started to install it. I changed the favorite to his website and I could see the site was working. It wasn't about 30 minutes later I could not get in I could only get in the parked page. I figured maybe it needed more time for the proporgation. Then I realize that it's running half complete and I cannot get in. I've tried typing the url in and it just forwards to the stupid parked domainsite spot. The site works for everyone else except for me. I need to be able to get in there. What the heck is going on. The site is http://www.drivinggame.net If it type that address in I get http://www.drivinggame.net/parking.php?domain_name=drivinggame.net How can I fix this?
Ok...It looks to me as though you have nameserver for both the parking of the domain, and also pointing to the webserver. The way to change that would be to change the nameservers at Domainsite to point to just the webserver. I'm using OpenDNS and it reports 2 IP addresses for the domain.
i can only see the parked domain when i look at the domain. you might have to wait longer. did you have a redirect to the parked domain?
Others can possibly see the site because their ISPs are looking at the nameservers pointing to the hosting rather then the parking server. I would suggest going into the domain control panel at Domainsite and verifying that the only nameservers in the list are the one provided by the webhosting company. Let them propogate and chek the domain again in a few hours...
it was up in server , i think there u check the url and make sure first, u remove the entire cache and cookies form your PC. and try it
I have some problem with domainsite, can you help me? Recently i bought a domain and it was transferred to my domainsite account, there was one problem in URL forwarding, for example if i put www.mydomain.com in address bar, its works perfect, but if i put mydomain.com, it is redirecting to some parking page. Can you help me in solving this problem? Is there any possibility in transferring my domain in domainsite.com to godaddy?
