I got a new plan, but i require some help with it

Hi all
Firstly, I want to thank all you out there for helping me with my blog question
I have another idea now. I want to make a categorized list. Something like a directory but with everything on the main page hand submitted.
For example
Animals :
LINK1
LINK2
LINK3

Food :
LINK1
LiNK2

And so on neatly arranged and organized to fill the entire page, preferable with a good border around all the different categories. Can someone point me to a template or script for it please? Id like to know whether such a script exists for free.
