I Got A New Asus G1 Laptop (pics)

    I'm so excited. My last laptop was a cheap HP from Circuit City and almost everywhere I went there would be someone with an identical looking laptop. This time I wanted something that had some power and wasn't so standard. This Asus is what I was looking for.
    The outside looks like carbon fiber except very reflective (shiny) and there are some green accents.
    Front
    top Reflective (no flash)
    top with flash
    top with harsh flash

    Inside there's:
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2ghz
    NVIDIA GeForce Go 7700 (512mb)
    2GB DDR2
    160GB Hard Drive
    Vista Home Premium

    The screen is a 15.4" WSXGA+ and it's gorgeous.

    The battery is lasting over 2 hours even on the high performance setting.

    Seriously, this might be the most excited I've been about a technology purchase. It set me back $1900.

    Why are PC laptops always garbaged up with intel stickers another junk. Looks like a NASCAR... Surprised there was no STP or NAPA sticker on there as well..

    $2000 i.e. around 88000 INR little expensive but the specs are cool enough
