Go into Google Control Panel and disable your ads for that site until you hear back from Google. Can you share your website's url?

You don't have to do anything. Contacting google, offering to provide logs of your website is already enough. They deal with those click bombing all day, and are used to discount those clicks, don't worry. You're not even supposed to know about them anyway!

Sorry, that's horrible. It sounds like you are doing the right things, however, and you should be O.K.

you should check the carefully that your website is not getting ranking on "heigh traffic keyword" you can check this from GA and find out if not then you should remove ads from there.

That's good enough after you contact adsense, they will take action on it

if u are using cpanel, then it is a breeze
take down the logs of your site visitors for the day and send in an email to adsense support and let them know about it with the log details, you should be fine
BTW is u are using google analytics then they already have the data, but still it can show you in better light and prudence if you take the initiative and share your ip log details of visitors with them, makes things easier for them

    Why not?
It will prevent any more clicks, kind of a way to show good faith during this time of repair. :)
