but i reckon dp links are attracting people from dp which often are 'no offence' or anything, i think they are ad blind. Since we are talking about a webmaster's forum here. Or is the opposite effect more true?

    Ill give you a plan:

1st week buy one of those 250$ adwords voucher ans spend only 50$ this week with that credit.

2nd week with your 50$, buy bulk directories submisions to gain a good number of backlinks. Spend another 50$ in adwords.

3rd week Spend 50$ buying quality links related to your site, nothing with less of PR3 (you can get a pair of PR3 for a year or a good PR4), this will improve your backlink quality. Spend another 50$ in adwords credit.

4th week With 50$ buy more content to give it for your new visitors provided by your previous efforts. This help to make them return. Spend 50$ in adwords credit.

5th week burn the remaining credit in adwords and give it a rest.

    6th week ----->> Go to week 1

Personally, I can't tell you the right way without actually seeing your sight. But right off the bat, if your site is brand new - I can guarantee you that you'd be better off saving up for a few weeks, and putting all that money into your site to improve it.

$50/week can go a long way, and that long way should be invested back into the site itself until you've "maxed" it out, and are ready for the marketing phase.

    What I'd do is:

Week 1: Buy $250 Google Adwords credit for $50. Make account one day after you buy the voucher, IE Tuesday
Week 2: Spend $50 on another $250 adwords voucher. Spend $50 from your credits. Credits left: 450
Week 3: (Monday) Buy another adwords credit and add it to your account. You can't buy more, as they are only for accounts within first 2 weeks. Making account on tuesday was so you could use these credits now. Spend $50 adwords credit, Credit left: $650.
Week 3: Submit to directories using a bulk submission service with your $50. Spend $50 adwords credit. Credit left: $600
Week 4: Spend $50 adwords credits and buy some links with your other $50. Credit left: $550
Week 5: Buy PLR articles on elance or a similar site with $50. Add them to your site. Spend $50 adwords credits. Credits left: $500
Week 6: Use a bulk article submission service to submit your articles and gain links for $50. Use $50 adwords credits. Credits left: $450
Repeat weeks 3-6 until out of adwords credits.

I think you cant add vouchers like these, he would have to open a new account for each voucher

I'd say it depends on the site/niche
