I have a Mp3 Search Engine Site. My Mp3 Download Site Got 25-30k Hits a day. What should be my Server Configuration? i am getting so much server connection error with my current hosting plan. Please Suggest me linux vps server configuration. Thank You
Since you are asking about server configuration, I assume you are on a VPS or dedicated server? Are you using Apache? What kind of control panel are you using? If you are using Apache, what are your settings for: KeepAlive Number of servers - max and min number of servers you are starting. What connection error are you getting? What is the error code and message?
yes its apache server. https://cheaphostingbd.com/premium-offshore-hosting.phphttps://cheaphostingbd.com/premium-offshore-hosting.php I use "Standard" Plan i think this plan is not enough. Errors: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0e13wbc47a
You are on shared hosting. You cannot configure a shared server. You have a lot of traffic for a shared server to handle.
Shared servers are generally high configuration servers but they host hundreds of websites so each account is left with a very little share of resources. Though the accounts are not restricted to certain amount of resources, but a little higher usage of resource by a single account slows down other websites which is not permitted and you are suspended and forced to move to a VPS or a Dedicated server.
Here is my traffic report for last two days: http://imgur.com/a/oO1au#0 From GA "Real-Time" Overview: 150-200(+) traffic all time in my site. ** My Question is should i move to Sever: 1. VPS with 512 Virtual Memory (VM) 2. VPS with 1024 Virtual Memory (VM) 3. or a dedicated server. Thanks
512MB or 1GB RAM VPS will surely wont be enough.. as stated in the previous reply, shared servers are high configuration servers so you never know the exact resource usage of a website on it.. the website may be using more than 2GB of RAM too. I have responded to your question in another thread recommending a dedicated server if you feel your traffic is going to increase further in the near future also.
Both of those options are too small. That is too big. What about a 4-core VPS with 4 GB of RAM? That will cost less than a dedicated server.
today i bought vps with VM 1024, not yet migrated to new server, l should try this one first, if its not work well, than i will go for further upgrade plan. anyway, thanks everyone for giving me such valuable information and suggestion.
