LOL I know this must seem pathetic to some,but from one site with the least traffic I get the most clicks? go figure ,whats the best way to stop competitors from advertising on your site?
With adsense there' a tip. Do some analysis of your work? Is it worth getting 2$ for your work and time given? If its only then u proceed.

My adsense site , still gets below 1$ a day , have not much visitors visiting it , hope soon to increase it though... Gratz on 2.51!
Good Start. It's time to look at traffic. Increase returning visitors and bring targeted traffic to your site and I hope all these will help you accelarate your earnings.
Think of it this way if you have a site that is bringing you $30 to $45 a month, you could maybe put together 100 sites that will bring you the same amount and make 3000 to 4500 a month easy. we all know it take a lot of work to do that but once your website gets of the ground you may be bringing three times that amount. So good luck and hope to see you making more and more.
