I got 1000+ backlinks for just 2 weeks.

these r too many backlinks.... google will not trust those blinks

 

Try to get links from different sites... and wait for few days.. your blog will be indexed soon.

 

Get a backlink from different name, your backlink doesn't count as 1000. As far as I see it, it only count 20 backlink...

you get 1 blog with 100 post in it mean 1 backlink (1 domain name=1 backlink)

 

Ah ok! In some few days my indexed links in google was 18 but now drop to 13. What is the problem with that?

 

1000+ backlinks in 2 weeks seems like too many in such a short space of time.

Also, it depends on not the quantity but the quality of backlinks. If you have 100 backlinks on something totally irrelevant whereas you have 2 quality backlinks, then the 2 are worth more IMO.

How did you manage to generate so many backlinks? Once your site gets indexed you should continue obtaining backlinks otherwise it could drop into the sandbox.

Hi. Congrats on that number..but it might take some time for Google to actually process those backlinks. Also, google has a certain time when they update the pagerank. You should keep on building your backlinks and know that you are also increasing your rankings in the search engines for each blog post your write, which leads to more traffic. Just give google some time to record your true backlink amount which can take up to a couple of months. Good luck.

I totally agree here, i mean if a guy spends time and effort on a website then go about it the right way. I have been reading about thousands of backlinks but a few good and relevant ones could be better. Just my 2 cents because i've known people who made money going about matters super fast. I guess it is a different approach, if someone intends to hold on to a site then slow could be better than fast.

One question though - what if some as the OP did accumulated 1000's of backlinks but then slowed the tremendously. what is the penalty for that, google will see it as unnatural but what and how long is the penalty and how does one make things better?

Regardless of the amount of backlinks you still have to go through the google sandbox

 

For now guys I have 3242 backlinks. Thanks mates for the good advice to me.. Now my site was ranked in the 1st page and ranked no. 2 in the keyword "hectic capiznon bloggers 2009".

 

1000 backlinks in 2 weeks... Wow! Impressive... NOT!

There are 2 major reasons why it probably didn't work...

1) If you got 1000 they were likely from places where Google has already figured out are sources of spam links. I'm SURE you weren't the first to use the technique... New ideas for "gaming the system" are few and far between. So most of the links you just got are likely devalued to 0 (worthless) and not even being counted by Google and
2) You just drew attention to your site since Google will almost definitely see this as totally unnatural, and could have possibly resulted in Google penalizing your blog...

There is an old saying here in the states, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

There is no quick fool proof method of making your site rank at Google and more importantly, stay there long term. It's the "Rank on page 1 in 24 hrs!" or "Get 1000 links in 2 weeks!" SEO techniques that are typically the death of sites utilizing them... You may get away with it for a while... But eventually it will come back to haunt you...

Write unique and compelling content that people want to read and enjoy... develop a following of visitors and other relevant bloggers... be passionate about the topic of your blog... and the links will come... Yes, it is a slow process... but it's like the turtle and the hare... You can't win the race if you never cross the finish line no matter how "fast" you are.

 

after you got the backlinks the only thing left is to update the content and wait..

I never use my own site ans still own google page 1 in almost all the niches I undertake.......is it just me ???
