I got 1,600 visitor per day to my site but I got less than 1$ from Adbrite. Help!

I have a music website in www.hobbylazy.com . Everyday 1,600 visitors come to my site but I get less than 1$ from Adbrite. My questions are:
1. Is that reasonable price? If not, what should I get?
2. Is there other companies offer better deal (beside Google)? I heard about bidvertiser, clicksor, chikita etc. How are they? Or other?
3. I got a suggestion that to get more money, I should find related products directly instead of running 3rd ad company. So what is your suggestion? List me some products give me an affiliate program and sign up free.

Adbrite is good with fullpage ads.

I was using Adbrite with 2 banners and was making $1-2 a day. Now I have added full-page banners yesterday. In 8 hours of adding, I had made $6.

Oh, my site gets 7-10k unique and 25-35k page views.

NOTE: Full page ads only appear to unique. If you get lots of page views, set the ads to come within 3 or 4 pageviews.

 

Use CPM Advertising, so you will get paid for every visitor

 

I get less than 40% fill rate with CPM. I made a max of $1 a day with that many uniques.

Full page ads are giving me more money.

So technically if he set full page ads for his site within 1st pageview he should get at least $2-ish.

Yes, basically adbrte pay you only $0.10~$0.20 per 1000 impresion

Adsense still the best. If you are in low pay niche, you can go for bidvertiser since you can filter out those low pay ads. Clicksor pay abit higher than adbrite. Chikita only pay when per sales

Why don't you try affiliate ads? Register with Commission Junction and Linkshare, and see what kind of products you can advertise on your site.

 

You could be making $30 or $40 a day with CPA ads on your site. no Bull some have a conversion as high as 32% and more.

Yeah, really I want to know that too.

And don't use BidVertiser, it is a very bad ad network. There are a lot of people who think the same and if you want to know why find somewhere on this forum or Google it.

 

I got $2.15 from 22 clicks and 8.2k views

Heres what I did:
No full page ads, those are annoying. Got 2 banners on the front page, and one inside the rest of the site.
Used very many keywords when creating adzone
And inline ads, if thats the correct term(the ones where words are underlined twice in green and are ppc ads)

I think it was the keywords though, it lines up more people to bid for your space.
do things like, blog, bogs, page, pages

Also, targeting is the key ;D
