I want to reg some domains.
I am a totally new user @ godaddy.

When I google it and click link I get adult parked page w/ a bunch of links.
When I type URL in the search bar, same as above.
So the only way I can access the site is via proxy.

This is the only site (aside from 1 other random one I was trying to access) that comes up as adult crap. So all other 100 sites, fine, godaddy, not fine. (btw i'm not misspelling the URL)

So, I ran a couple spyware removers/scanners, and still the problem exists.
Btw the pages change w/ each click, one time It will be hot-panties, the next time It will be striking-moms.

    Any solutions?
    Thanks.

Yeah a great solution would be to use another domain provider ;)

both give me the same pornish screen I have been getting. This is a question concerning my PC, not godaddy.com

So I guess I will run some more spyware tools, and hopefully it will zap this. If anyone has other solutions I'd be happy to hear.

You either have adware, spyware, or a virus. So clean out your comp.

you have something running on your pc, i bet if you look at the running proccessers you'll find something from a program you installed, and that came with it, as bundled software, and most of them are not found by spyware because you accepted them,
but look down the list and check each .exe running and you'll find what it is.

    thanks guys I'll, (and gals).

Now I don't wanna side track this thread, but I may as well get as much value out of it as possible ;) From what I hear, go daddy is like the hostgator of registrars; it is huge, fairly cheap, and dosn't completely suck.

That is why I wanted to sign up.
Is namecheap really better? Due to your high rep, I assume you are correct, so I think I may just go w/ namecheap instead.

Also, it says "Transfer Domains to Namecheap" will this be an easy task if I am transferring from 1 and 1?

Yes should be easy, I wouldnt know though, never transfered domains between registars.

I use to use godaddy and hated transferring domains, you have to give your address, phone number and all your other info, but with namecheap its just your username. Also The nameservers update alot faster with namecheap.
