i am a new blogger and i know its not much for more senior blogger but i get around 700 to 850 unique visitors daily. I haven't put adds on my blog cause i m trying to focus on content and traffic so i haven't yet bothered with advertisements. Do you have any recommendations besides adsense what are the good companies that i could sign up for! My traffic is organic and i don't really pay for traffic .
not to bad if you have such amount of traffic, put google adsense their, use affiliate link, sell text link ads...
It's important that you offer what your traffic is looking for. This will give the highest conversion. Take this into consideration when looking for programs.
Join a decent affiliate program (see sig ), sign up to adsense, kontera, if it's a blog maybe try performancingads, selling those 125x125 adspots. that's what i'm doing on my blog (check the sidebar) www.swollenpickles.com
If you want to get good traffic then you try to develop your site or blog through various good search engine programmes. If you want to ean online then affiliate and referral programmes are good for you.
You could try promoting offers from CPA (Cost Per Action) Networks like Hydra, Neverblue Ads, Incentaclick, CPA Empire. Basically you get paid when a user completes an offer or sometimes buys a product or trial sample. This ranges from $1.25 or so for the user entering an email address up to $4 for dating type offers, to $17 or so for credit reports. Typically the more information/effort required, the higher the payout. The good thing is that there is a wide range of offers available. If your blog appeals to a particular demographic then you could work with an affiliate manager at one of the networks mentioned above to run banner ads or text links on your site and see what works and what doesn't. If you can give some information on what demographics you mainly attract then I'm sure people will chime in with kinds of offers that may work. Having said that, the only real way to know is to test and track. If you want a set and forget (and generally lower paying) solution then go the Adsense type route. Jill PS I think thats a great effort getting to those kind of numbers given you're a new blogger. Well done!
Make sure you know what the resource of those unique traffic identify the relevant keywords that your site is about Check you competitors and see what ads and merchants they are promoting advertise using affiliate links in your site and ads with affiliate links
I would be careful not to monetize your site too quickly, because you might drive traffic away from your site if a million ads appear. If you're providing good content, compile it, and put it into an easy-to-read relevant book that can answer someone's concern/problem that's coming to the website. With 800 uniques, I agree you should put Adsense up for that.
